Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #983
Hey there, it’s Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for Wednesday and I’ve got a cool tip for you today.
If you have a Alexa device with a screen, and you want to watch some YouTube videos, you can actually do that, on the device on the Echo Show.
You simply say, “Alexa, open YouTube” and it will open YouTube in a browser known as Amazon silk, that is the Amazon version of a web browser.
And then you can ask her to search for things by name, ask her to play videos, or you can of course, touch the screen and use it that way.
So there you go, if you want to look at using Alexa to play some YouTube videos, then you certainly can do that.
Now I also want to tell you about a few events that are going on today as well.

Adam is actually one of the guys that invented Siri and Bixby and it’s a real pleasure to be able to interview him at two o’clock Pacific.
And finally, at three o’clock we are interviewing Brandon Kaplan he is on the show live and he is the CEO of Skilled Creative one of the most successful agencies that produces voice skills and Alexa apps so if you want to speak with him, then there is your chance to do so.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
