Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #669

Alright, here we are tip number six, how you can use Alexa for the holidays.

We’re doing a quick count down here over the week. Yesterday was number seven, today is number six and the tip today is use the drop in feature.

What’s the drop in feature? It’s a feature that allows you to, well literally drop in on somebody and say hi.

Now if you’re going to be able to drop in on someone, they have to have given you permission in order to do that.

And if you want somebody to be able to drop in on you, then you have to have given that permission in advance as well.

If you’ve got a screen with a camera, of course you can have a video call as well.

Ways to Use Alexa for the Holidays #6

But this can be a really nice way to drop in on a family member, on a friend that can’t be with you over the holidays and you simply say that you say, “Alexa, drop in on…” whoever that person is and there you go.

You just start a conversation, if you’ve got a screen with a camera, of course you can have a video call as well.

If not, then you can have an audio call through Alexa and it is such a nice way to be able to do that, to simply say those words and be able to just drop in on that person, alright?

Give it a try, hope that brings you a little bit closer with your family and friends over the holiday and tomorrow we’ll get to tip number five.
