Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #248

Okay, if you are anything like me, you’re wondering when am I going to be able to print just by using my voice. And, the answer is, this is coming very, very soon. In fact, there was a story that just came out that shows that Hewlett Packard (HP), you know, the company that makes computers, and they’re really well known for their printers, is releasing a new line of printers called the HP Tango.

And it lets you ask to print by voice. So, this works with a number of different computers. It works with PCs, Macs, tablets, and smartphones. And, you can use it to print from a number of different applications, but here’s the part that’s relevant to us, and Alexa, and that is that HP Tango integrates with voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa. And, you can now issue vocal commands to print things like shopping lists, to print things like calendars, and other things as well from your voice assistant.

So, I think that’s pretty cool. So if you want some more information on that just search HP Tango and you will be able to find lots of information about what this new printer can do. Now, the other thing I want to do is, I want to take a quick moment and give a shout out to Mark. I don’t have a last name or initial here, but Mark gave me a great review on the Alexa skills store. And Mark, I want to thank you for that. I want to share that.

Basically, the review says…., he gave us five stars, so thank you for that. And it says, “Awesome newsflash. I’m brand new to Alexa, but loving the newsflash service. Really enjoying your daily nuggets of Alexa related information and tips. Keep up the great work. Hey Mark, thanks so much. I know you gave that review about two weeks ago and I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to give you the shout out sooner, but I have been aware of it.

I assure you, and I assure everybody else that I read every single review, and I checked the reviews quite regularly to make sure that I’m not missing anyone that does leave a review. So if you are inclined to leave a review, you simply go to VoiceinCanada.ca and there’s a red button in the middle of the page that says, “Leave a review”, with a little smiley face.

You click on that and you enter the review. It’s that simple. It really…, I’ve tried to make it as simple as possible. And, it really does help the flash briefing to be discovered by other people like Mark who said that he is a relatively newer Alexa user, and anybody that leaves a review does help the flash briefing to be found and helps other new users as well.

So, thank you very much. Have a great day. And, I will talk to you tomorrow. Take care, everybody.
