Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1048
Happy New Year, it’s Teri Fisher here with the first Voice in Canada flash briefing of 2021.
Hope you had a wonderful New Year’s Eve hope you’re doing well today.
Hope you’re healthy and I wish you all the very, very best for this upcoming year.
I thought I’d start off this year with a special flash briefing to tell you a little bit about the plan for the Alexa in Canada podcast and blog as we go forward.
As you may know, if you’ve listened to the podcast earlier this week, I have recently rebranded from Alexa in Canada to voice in Canada.
Now that doesn’t change this flash briefing because this flash briefing was always called Voice in Canada.
But the whole point of expanding the reach from just Alexa to Voice in general is that we can now have conversations about not only Alexa but also Google Assistant, Apple Siri, Microsoft Cortana, Samsung Bixby as it comes to Canada, and all the other types of voice assistants and conversational artificial intelligence that we are experiencing more and more in our lives.
So I would love to get your feedback on this as we move forward, please feel free to hit me up particularly on Twitter or through the website.
The key website address to know now going forward is that everything is at VoiceinCanada.ca.
there’s actually a forum there now where people can start to have conversations.
Now, if you go to AlexainCanada.ca, it will forward you to VoiceinCanada.ca, but we’ve got all kinds of new features on the website.
It’s a brand new website, I encourage you to check it out, there’s actually a forum there now where people can start to have conversations.
The forum is a little bit bare right now because it has just been launched, but I encourage you to go over there be the couple of first people to post there and and get involved with the community, I would love, love to hear your thoughts on this.
And I’d also love to get your feedback generally on how we should do this, do you have ideas?
Should one day on the flash briefing be dedicated to Alexa? Should one day be dedicated to Siri should one day be dedicated to Google Assistant, you let me know.
In the meantime, I’m going to be exploring different ways I’m going to be experimenting a little bit and of course your feedback is always welcome.
So we’re going to start off 2021 with a couple of really exciting changes.
I feel this community Northern voice and Voice technology in general has matured over the last couple of years and we’re ready for this step.
So with that being said again, happy New Year, I wish you all the best thank you for your support, and have a very happy and healthy 2021.
Talk to you tomorrow.
