Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1153
Hello, Teri here with your flash briefing for Friday, hope you are doing well.
We have had a little bit of a theme I’ve been focusing on the Echo Auto over the last little while and today I want to give you a tip just in case you run into issues with your Echo Auto losing the Bluetooth connection to your phone and here’s sort of a checklist of things that you can go through to help reset that connection.
Now, don’t worry about if you can’t catch us all right now this will be in the show notes, I’ve got all of my flash briefings on the website and you can access that at VoiceinCanada.ca.
So here’s what you’re going to try to do, if you find that you lose the Bluetooth connection between your phone and your Echo Auto number one, force close the Alexa app on your phone and then launch it again, okay?
So you close the app and you try launching it again, that doesn’t work, you can try unplugging the power cable from the Echo Auto wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in, okay?
If you have an iOS phone, you can try turning off the Bluetooth on your phone and then turning it back on, okay, you can try restarting your smartphone.
if you do have any Bluetooth connection issues, now you’ve got some troubleshooting tips and instructions
And then here’s another one, you can just one little bit longer but stay with me here, you would go to the Echo Auto settings in the Alexa app and choose to forget the device.
Then you go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings to check if your phone is connected to the Echo Auto, if your phone already is connected, then you unpair or forget the connection, unplug the power cable from the Echo Auto wait 45 seconds and then plug it back in and then open up the Alexa app and then complete the setup again, okay?
And finally, number six is to factory reset your Echo Auto and complete the setup in the Alexa app, so I know there was a lot there but hopefully, well hopefully you don’t have any issues at all, but if you do have any Bluetooth connection issues, now you’ve got some troubleshooting tips and instructions to go through.
And again, you can find that all on the Voice in Canada website at VoiceinCanada.ca, alright?
I hope you have a wonderful Friday, I’m really looking forward to next week we’ve got some great stuff going on.
