Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #53
So today I want to tell you about a cool product that has just been released that will take your home automation to another level.
If you’ve been following what I’ve been doing through the website and through the flash briefing, you will know that I have been using TP-link smart light switches.
And I have installed them in my home in a number of my light switches and I love them.
Primarily because you can control them through your App, you can control them through Alexa, but yet you still remain in complete control over the lights from the light switch itself as well.
But the issue with it was that up until now they only had a switch that was a two way switch, meaning that it only could control a light if there was only one switch on the wall that control that light.
You can control them through your App, you can control them through Alexa.
The opposite is when you have two switches that control the same set of lights, you often see that at either ends of a hallway or at either ends of the staircase.
So I couldn’t get replace those ones, anyway, the bottom line is that TP-link has just come out with the exact same switch, but it’s now a three way switch and so you can buy these now as a pair.
And basically you can now replace the switch at one end of the hall and the switch at the other end of the hall and it’s going to work just like the switches that control lights.
But just with one switch, I feel like that was way more confusing than it had to be. Anyway, the bottom line is a three way switches now available from TP-link and I’m really excited.
So I’m going to be getting some of these and I’m going to be using them on my three way switches where they are in my home.
Like I said, primarily at the end of the hallways and staircases and it’s great. Just so you know it is now on Amazon.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
