Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #869
Alright, are you in the market for a new car, because more and more car manufacturers, car companies are investing a lot of money into their infotainment systems and here is a little bit of news with regards to Audi.
So Audi is releasing a new Q5 SUV, this happens to be their best selling SUV.
And it’s interesting because you know, the past cars would talk about how much power they have under the hood and that sort of thing.
What’s interesting now is that in the promotional materials, the car manufacturers are actually talking more about computing power.
And well, I’ll just share with you a little bit of what I was reading about this latest Audi that’s going to be coming out in the fall of this year.
A lot of people are now looking at the computing power of their cars.
The computing power has 10 times the power of the previous model.
It makes things possible, like seamless pinch to zoom maps and high resolution, Google earth images, live traffic updates, accurate down to individual lanes and of course, relevant to us, the Audi has Amazon Alexa built into the car.
And so it’s really interesting because, you know, there’s the new Echo Auto that’s available in Canada and we’re seeing more and more cars that are having Alexa built into them.
So this kind of gets back to what I was talking about with Arianne Walker, from Alexa Automotive, she was on the podcast a couple of weeks back.
Anyway, just so you know, it’s very interesting a lot of people are now looking at the computing power of their cars and Audi Q5, the new model is going to have Alexa built in.

3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
