Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #749

Hey, hey, it’s Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for Sunday and as you know on Sundays, I really like to answer questions from the community.

So let’s get right to that today. Today’s question comes out of the Facebook group and you can access that at AlexainCanada.ca/Community.

It’s from Judy Yanocko Hayward I hope I said your name right, Judy.

Judy says, I’m trying to find the best way to create skills with a Canadian linked account.

The skills blueprints don’t do everything and that’s right.

Blueprints basically are template that Amazon has set up, but they’re quite limited in Canada.

So Judy goes on to say any suggestions for free personal skills building would be greatly appreciated.

They allow you to basically drag and drop different things that Alexa says versus things that you say.

Suggestions to Create Free Personal Skills

Well, I can tell you that one of the really interesting companies that are doing some fascinating work is a company by the name of voice flow.

And in fact, this is the company that Pete Bready mentioned in the answer to this question.

Voice flow is a really cool company, they allow you to basically drag and drop different things that Alexa says versus things that you say.

And you can actually get quite advanced but or be quite basic if you want.

So I would recommend checking out voice flow their website is VoiceFlow.com and I think you may be very impressed with what they’re doing.

I’ve actually interviewed the CEO of Voice Flow, Braden Ream.

So if you just search for Braden on the Alexa in Canada website, you can hear my discussion with him and Braden Ream.

I hope that’s helpful for you, Judy and thank you very much for the question.

Have a great day and I will talk to you tomorrow.
