Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1198

Hey there, Teri Fisher here it is Monday, happy Monday and here’s your flash briefing for today.

So here’s a little bit of a, maybe an odd one, I’m not sure, if you have an iPhone, and you want to be able to access your Alexa app without using your hands.

What you can do is you can use one voice assistant to get access to Alexa, in other words, what you can say is you can say, “Siri, open the Alexa app”, and then Siri will open the Alexa app.

Now if you have already set up the Alexa app, so that you can then speak to Alexa without having to tap the screen.

Does that seem like a convenient type of feature or is that something that you would never use?

Now you have a hands free way, or be it a little bit a roundabout way, but you have a hands free way to access Alexa on your phone, so you say, “Siri, open Alexa app,” and now once it’s open, you say Alexa and you give your command.

So I’m curious what you think about that? Does that seem like a convenient type of feature or is that something that you would never use?
