Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1344

Hello, Teri here. Happy Sunday. Hope your weekend is going really well. I have a question from the community and I want to answer this one today.

This is about how you set your Alexa default news source. It’s really simple to do this. And I’ll just walk you right through it.

What you do is you go to your Alexa app. From your home screen on the app, you’re gonna click the “More” icon in the bottom right corner.

Then you click Settings. And then you scroll down till you see “News” You click on News. And now there’s an option to choose your news channel.

You click on edit. And the options that come up on my device are CBC News, 680 News, Radio Canada, and Fox News Extended Canada.

Alexa will give you the flash briefings when you ask her to play your flash briefings

So you can select one of those. And now, when you ask Alexa to play the news, she will play the news from that particular channel.

Of course, you can also choose your flash briefings from that setting as well.

And then Alexa will give you the flash briefings when you ask her to play your flash briefings as opposed to playing your news.

So there you go. That’s how you set your Alexa default news source. Hope that’s helpful to you.

And I hope you’re having a great Sunday. I will talk to you again tomorrow.
