Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1425

Hey, hey. Teri here. And I’ve got another product to tell you about today.

This is pretty typical at the beginning of the year, just after CES (Consumer Electronics Show), where lots of new products are announced.

Here’s one again that’s announced. It is available for order.

You can have it shipped to Canada, but the Alexa feature which is available, it’s uncertain if that’s available in Canada at this time.

So I want to give you that heads up right now. However, what is this product? It’s called the SECURAM WiFi Smart Lock.

This is probably the most advanced smart lock that I’ve seen. First of all, it works with Alexa. That’s why I’m telling you about it here.

You can talk to it through Alexa, you know, “What is the status of my front door, lock the front door, unlock the front door,” etc.

But in addition to that, the actual SECURAM WiFi Smart Lock can be used with an app.

You can have time based codes, so a code is only valid for a particular time period

It can be used with regular keys. Imagine that. It can be used with a code on the front because there’s a keypad. And it’s got a fingerprint scanner.

So you can use your fingerprint as well. And of course, there are lots of ways that you can share codes with visitors, you can have time-based codes, so a code is only valid for a particular time period.

This is great for people that rent out their home or vacation property, etc. So, the fact that you can open this door four different ways; app, fingerprint, a code, and keys is pretty cool.

And of course, you can get the status and talk to it through Alexa. Again, it’s the SECURAM EOS Smart Lock.

And you can search for that and you’ll find lots of information on it. I will keep you updated as I learn more about what is available in Canada with regard to the Alexa features.

Hope you’re having a great day as always, and I’ll talk to you again tomorrow.
