Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1328

Hey, hey. Teri here. Happy Friday. As you know, here in Canada, it is Thanksgiving on Monday.

And I thought I would share a little tip with you today about how you can use routines to get set for Thanksgiving.

And we’ll go into some other commands and things for tomorrow.

Nevertheless, if you are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner with people that you are allowed to host with, given what’s going on with COVID, you may want to set up a routine.

And, some ideas of things to incorporate into your routine could be to set your smart lights.

Perhaps it sets the lights to a little bit more of a dim level when you’re sitting down to eat.

Maybe there’s an announcement and it calls everyone to dinner.

Routines to Get Set for Thanksgiving

Maybe it plays a Thanksgiving playlist which you can set up. And there are a lot more routines to get set for Thanksgiving.

Of course, you can also change the trigger of the words that you use to launch the routine. So instead of whatever that is, just choose something fun.

Maybe it’s… you know, “Everyone! It’s Thanksgiving time” or “It’s go time” or just “Happy Thanksgiving” And that can trigger the routine.

So, there you go. A couple of fun things to think about is how you can incorporate smart technology into your Thanksgiving celebrations on Monday.

Hope you are doing well and I’ll be back tomorrow with a couple of sayings or things that you can say to Alexa as well to get you in the mood for this holiday weekend.

Alright. Hope we’re doing well. Talk to you tomorrow.
