Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #847
Hello and happy Sunday, it’s Teri here with your flash briefing and Sundays are days I like to answer questions from the community.
And this might be a little bit of a quick one, but it’s a great, great reminder for all of us.
On the Facebook community page, there was a question asked by Irma Dornoch.
And she had a great question, she said, for some reason, Alexa has lost control of the volume.
It used to be consistent and now basically some things are louder, some things are more soft and what are your thoughts on that?
So Pete, who often will help to answer these questions, jumped in and said, try rebooting it and your router but there can be variations in sound from different sources and that is exactly right.
Sometimes, depending on how the music source has been recorded, there can be some variations in the music or the sound, whatever that is, flash briefings even and so you may find that there is some variability in that.
Depending on how the music source has been recorded, there can be some variations.
If that’s the case, there’s not a whole lot you can do about that because that’s the way it was recorded.
However, the reminder here is that yes, if Alexa’s doing something really weird and you can’t figure it out, sometimes it is a good idea to unplug it for a few seconds and then plug it back in, let her reboot and make sure that everything is running smoothly.
It’s the same thing kind of when your computer kind of acts really weird and when you want to shut down your computer and reboot it to just basically refresh everything and clear the memory, same kind of deal.
So, yes sounds are sometimes up and down in terms of the volume, but if you’re at a loss and you’re really struggling try rebooting your device and that can sometimes solve the problem, okay?
Have a wonderful Sunday, I’ve got some big announcements coming this week I’m really excited about it and I’ll get to some of those very shortly in the next couple days, talk to you soon.
