Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #956
Hey there, it’s Teri here with your flash briefing, and today, I want to tell you a little bit about Prime Day.
I guess, really, its Prime Days, now, if you don’t know what this is, it’s an annual shopping event that Amazon puts on and they highly, highly discount a lot of their products.
And it seems like almost everything on their site gets discounted, and their significant discounts.
We’re talking about things like Boxing Day gifts discounts, that sort of level of discounts.
And so typically, it’s during the summer, but with everything that was going on with COVID, Amazon delayed the Prime Day event, and they just announced when that is, and it’s happening October 13, to 14th.
And typically, what I do every year is when I know that this is coming up in the near future, I start thinking of all the things that I could need around the house.
And in particular, if you need any Alexa devices or any smart home stuff, typically there are huge savings on those sorts of devices.
So I want to let you know, October 13, and 14th are the days that is happening, if you go to AlexainCanada.ca/PrimeDay, you will find the link that will take you directly to the Amazon Prime Day homepage, if you will.
right now for Prime subscribers where you can get two of them for 50 bucks
That is an affiliate link as usual and if you choose to use it, then thank you very much, I do get a small commission on anything that you purchase and I really appreciate it.
That, of course, goes to support the Alexa brand, and Alexa in Canada and all that stuff that I’m doing, so thank you very much for that.
So that’s what’s going on, the other thing I’ll just mention again because yesterday I went into detail with this, but I want to let you know that Amazon in preparation, I’m sure for Prime Day is trying to liquidate all of their old generation of the Echo Dots, the third generation the hockey puck one.
If you want to get one and you’re a Prime subscriber, they have an exclusive deal right now for Prime subscribers where you can get two of them for 50 bucks $25 each.
And that will be on sale until October 5 at least that’s what it says on the website for now.
So if you want to take advantage of that, again, AlexainCanada.ca/Amazon.
Alright, I think that’s it for today, lots more news coming up in the next little while so stay tuned for that and I will talk to you again tomorrow.
