Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1222

Hey, Teri here. So do you ever find that you’re getting tired of your playlist and you could just somehow discover some new songs?

Well, you can actually find songs that are similar to other songs by basically just saying that.

Now keep in mind that this feature only works if you’re listening to music on Amazon music.

So if you’re set up to have Amazon music as your default music player, you’re good to go.

If not, you can always say those words on Amazon music at the end of the command. And these are some commands that you can say for example, you could say things like, “Alexa, play songs like…”, and then fill in the blank, so you could say the name of a song.

what you’ll end up with is a playlist which will probably include what you just specified

Play Songs Similar to...

Now remember, if you’re not an Amazon music, then finish it off with Amazon music. So like, “Alexa, play songs like (blank) on Amazon music, you can also say, “Play songs similar to the Beatles on amazon music”, for example.

So those are the kinds of things that you can say and then what you’ll end up with is a playlist which will probably include what you just specified, in terms of if you said, place songs like the Beatles.

You’ll get songs by the Beatles, but you’ll also get songs that are similar to the Beatles and who knows, you may find some new favorites in there, alright?

So try that out, see how you like it, and I’ll talk to you later.
