Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #964
Hey there, Teri Fisher here and today I want to tell you about a new addition actually two new additions to the Fire TV Stick line of devices, which of course come with the Alexa voice remote.
So these are really hot sellers when it comes to Amazon products and Fire TV.
And just so we’re clear on what we’re talking about the Fire TV Sticks are little sticks that you stick into your TV and it comes with a remote.
And it basically gives you access to a lot of apps and smart TV features.
Here’s what’s new, so Amazon just announced two new products, the first one is the Fire TV stick and this includes the Alexa voice remote, and on that remote, there are TV controls.
So specifically, there’s a power button there’s a mute button in their volume buttons to allow you to control your TV as well through the remote, this one is selling for $60 and it is on sale right now.
Now the other version of this is the Fire TV Stick Lite, now this one is similar in that you control it with Alexa to the Alexa voice remote, but there are no specific TV controls on that remote.
So it does not have the power button for the TV, it does not have volume buttons, and it does not have a mute button.
it basically gives you access to a lot of apps and smart TV features.
So if that is something that is important to you, then you might want to consider the Fire TV Stick.
Now the Fire TV Stick Lite is selling for $50 and it’s available, now.
Keep in mind that neither of these will streaming 4K, so to make things even more confusing. If you want to be able to stream in 4k, then you want to going to want to be looking for the Fire TV Stick 4K and that one is 70 bucks.
That one does include the TV controls that I mentioned earlier on the remote as well.
All of these are controllable by Alexa through the voice remote, so that’s great and I should mention the two newer ones also have upgraded sounds.
So they have Dolby Atmos sound, as long as the program that you are watching does have that enabled.

2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
