Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1359

Hello, hello. Teri here. Happy Monday. So, if you were listening to the flash briefing yesterday, then you heard about the ability to pause your music in one location on one Echo device, and then resume it in another location.

Well, I just discovered that there’s an even easier way of doing this. Let’s say that you are listening to music in the office, and your Echo is named office.

And you want to move the music to your bedroom and the Echo in that room is named bedroom.

All you do, once you’re playing your music, of course, is you simply say, “Alexa, move my music to the bedroom.” And that’s it.

The music will just automatically continue right where you were

Music Playing From One Echo Device to Another in a Different Room

The music will stop playing, wherever you were first playing it, say in the office, and then the music will just automatically continue right where you were in the bedroom.

It’s that simple. So literally, you just say, “Alexa, move my music too”, and you fill in the blank of that Echo device, and you can move things around.

You can also say things like, “Alexa, stop the music in the bedroom”, and that sort of thing. So you can actually control the music in other locations.

I think that’s pretty cool. Hopefully, that is helpful to you. I really like that feature. I know I’m gonna be using that a lot. And, there you go.

Hope you have a wonderful day, as usual, and I’ll talk to you tomorrow.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
