Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #411

Hello, and I hope you’re having a great Friday. It’s Teri here with your flash briefing for today. And, over the last couple of weeks, I have been reporting that Canadian French is becoming more and more accessible, and prevalent among the Alexa-enabled devices.

And today I want to tell you about a few more devices that have started to support Canadian French. So, earlier I told you that the Sonos One smart speaker, and the Sonos Beam smart soundbar both support Canadian French.

Well, here are some other devices now that have publicly said that they support Canadian French. Bose, they will provide Canadian French with a range of their wireless devices.

Some of them include the QuietComfort 35 II headphones, the Home Speaker 500, the Soundbar 500, and the Soundbar 700. Harman Kardon, they are adding Canadian French into their premium smart speakers, the Allure and the Allure Portable.

Jabra is supporting the language in a range of their wireless headphones and earbuds, including the Elite 65t, the Elite Active 65t, and the 65e. First Alert is adding Canadian French to their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, which is really cool.

Canadian French is becoming more and more accessible, and prevalent among the Alexa-enabled devices.

More Alexa Devices Support Canadian French

And larger tech as well. The Ultimate Ears. They will support the language through their Alexa built-in MegaBlast portable speakers. So, there you go. Pretty cool that lots and lots of devices and manufacturers are jumping on the French language bandwagon as well, which just makes it that much more accessible.

So, fantastic. Finally, we have another review, shout out to give. This one is from Lorraine. She gave the flash briefing five stars and wrote, “Canada A. I look forward to listening to Teri every morning to start my day. Lots of useful information and especially love that he is local, to me anyway, but especially that it is Canadian content. Thanks, Teri.”

Hey, thank you Lorraine, and glad to hear that you’re local. I’m assuming you’re in Vancouver, so I hope you’re enjoying your day, whatever you’re doing. If you want to leave a review for the flash briefing, just go to VoiceinCanada.ca and you’ll see a red button right there.

Thanks so much, Lorraine. Thank you everybody else, and we’ll talk to you again tomorrow. Take care.
