Hello. So here is a new bit of news. I guess that’s what makes it news. Amazon has recently announced that you can now subscribe to Amazon Prime by month or annually. And annually is what has been there up until now. So the annual price for a Prime membership is $79 per year and as you will know, that includes the Prime shipping, which is the best value as far as I’m concerned, but it also includes access to Prime Music, Prime Video and storage of your photos.
So, it’s actually very good value. In the United States, they have had the option to pay monthly, which is interesting because somebody could pay for Prime for a month or two and then cancel it for a while and restart their subscription, and now it’s available in Canada.

The catch here, of course, is that if you choose to do it monthly, you’re paying $7.99 per month. So, 8 times 12 of them, doing my math correctly, that’s $96 a year. So it is saving you money to do it annually, but it is a good option.
