Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1143
Hey, Teri here with your flash briefing for Tuesday, hope you had a great holiday weekend.
Today I want to talk a little about lists and how you can use Alexa to help you remember things that are on your list, whether it’s a shopping list or whether it’s a to do list.
So here’s some basics first of all, you can simply say, “Add a particular item to a shopping list”, if there’s something that you know you’re going to need later, and you need a reminder.
Which is really cool, actually, because if you notice something, you’re moving around your kitchen you notice, hey, I need some eggs, you can just use your voice and say, “Alexa, add eggs to my shopping list”.
You can also do something like, “Remove eggs from my shopping list”, and you can also ask Alexa, “What is on my shopping list”.
the other thing that you can do is you can create new lists in the app and you can also share the list.
Now you can also do this with to do lists, so if there’s something you need to remind yourself to do, like, buy my sister birthday present, you can say, “Alexa, add by my sister a birthday present to my to do list”.
And then what you can do is you can actually go into your app when you’re out and about and see what is on your lists and the other thing that you can do is you can create new lists in the app and you can also share the list.
So if you click on a particular list in the app, and then you click on the three buttons, or the three dots in the top right corner, you will see an option to share the list and then you can share it with someone and they can have access to your shopping list, for example when they are out and about.
So I hope that’s helpful for you, I think it’s a pretty cool feature, I think there’s a lot of functionality in there and hope it makes your shopping a little bit easier.
Alright, have a wonderful day, I’ll talk to you again tomorrow.
