Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1450
Hello, hello. Teri here. Happy Monday. Hope your week is off to a great start.
Today I want to tell you about the latest car to include Alexa directly in the infotainment system.
These are the existing and new Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles that have the Pivi Pro Infotainment System.
So, owners of those vehicles that have that infotainment system (Jaguar and Land Rover brand) will be able to enjoy the benefits of Alexa with an over-the-air software update.
This is pretty cool. It will update it and then you can use Alexa in the typical ways that you are familiar with. It makes the driving experience more enjoyable.
And of course, you can say things like, “Alexa, navigate to home”
It’s just the latest brand in a series of cars that are including Alexa directly into their infotainment system
“Alexa, play my particular playlist.” “Alexa, show me nearby coffee shops”, all with voice without having to use the touchscreen in that infotainment system.
So, if you are the owner, or you are looking at getting a Jaguar or Land Rover, and you’d like to interface with Alexa, this is great news.
And it’s just the latest brand in a series of cars that are including Alexa directly into their infotainment system.

1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
