Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1343

Hello, Hello. Happy Saturday. Let’s get right to it. On Saturday we do commands or things that you can ask Alexa for fun.

As I mentioned the other day, you can actually use Alexa to get NHL highlights, but there are so many more hockey commands that Alexa can now do.

So I’m going to run through some of them here. And this is just a partial list. You’re ready for this? Here we go. “Alexa, what’s my sports update?”

“Alexa, when are the Canucks playing?” Sorry for everybody that’s not a Canucks fan, but those are going to be my examples.

“Alexa, what are the NHL standings?” And then you can ask lots of trivia questions too.

Hockey Commands for Alexa

For example, here’s one. “Alexa, who was the captain of the Montreal Canadians in 1978?” Kind of random. But there you go.

Do you know the answer to that one? “Alexa, how many Stanley Cups did Wayne Gretzky win?” “Alexa, how many goals did Connor McDavid score?”

Here are a couple of other fun ones. “Alexa, tell me a fun fact about hockey.” How about this one? “Alexa, commentator mode” And we’ll stop with that one.

You’ve got to try that one for sure. Alright? So there you go. A couple of fun things to enjoy the hockey season.

Hope you’re doing well. Hope you have a wonderful, wonderful Saturday, and I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
