Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1405

Hello, hello. Teri here. Hope you’re doing well. Hope your holiday preparations are going well. And if you’re off then hope you’re enjoying your holidays.

For today, I wanted to share a fun game that you can play with Alexa. This is actually based on Jimmy Fallon’s Hey Robot game.

Now, if you’re not familiar with the game, this is the way it works. One person picks a word and then the other person has to use the Alexa (The Echo device) and try to get Alexa to say that word.

So in other words, let’s say I pick the word “Curling”. It’d be up to you, if you’re playing against me, to now get Alexa to say the word curling.

If you’re not familiar with Hey Robot, this is the way it works

Game Time With Alexa Similar to Hey Robot with Jimmy Fallon

And you can ask Alexa questions to try to get it to do that. You can set a time limit if you want. There’s lots of ways you can have fun with this.

You can keep score, you can go back and forth. And depending on how easy or challenging you want to make it, you can do it. So, here’s an example.

My word is curling. Can you get Alexa to say the word? I’ll give you a little clue here. Maybe ask Alexa about her favorite sport. Alright! Have fun with that one.

Hopefully it’s a fun thing that you can do with your family over the holidays. And let me know.

Challenge me with your word through Twitter @DrTeriFisher. Alright! Talk to you later.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
