Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1409
Hey, hey. Teri here. Hope you’re doing well and having a great holiday season.
As you may know, I love routines on Alexa, when you can give one command and then Alexa automatically goes through a whole bunch of things.
Now, with the NHL on hold for a little while, we are expecting the games to come back on soon, hopefully.
And I wanted to tell you about a cool game day routine that I came across, that you might be interested in implementing, particularly if you are a hockey fan.
You can do this for any sport, really. But here’s what you do.
You set up a routine that starts with the phrase, “It’s game day” And this gives you your game day routine.
This was actually inspired by Carey Price when I was looking through some of the things that you can say to Carey Price.
We talked about that in our previous flash briefing. Anyway, here is what you can set up with your routine.
And of course, feel free to be creative and edit this to how you see fit. But here’s what you could do.
You could have a routine set up where when you say, “It’s game day”, Alexa will start a 10-minute meditation.
You can give one command and then Alexa automatically goes through a whole bunch of things
Then Alexa will play an upbeat playlist. Then Alexa will give you a compliment. And then Alexa will play crowd applause.
Then you can have Alexa say whatever you want, like, “Let’s start the game” or I’m sure you can come up with something a little more creative than that.
But that’s the idea. And it’s a really fun way to get ready for the game.
So if I know that the Canucks are coming on, and I want to get pumped for the game, and I want to feel ready to go, then I can start this routine, maybe 15 minutes before the game, and away you go.
So, that’s the little routine. Of course, feel free to edit it. You could have lights flashing, you could do whatever you want.
If you want to make it more on the energetic side versus more on the meditation side, it’s totally up to you. So there you go.
Have fun with that one and talk to you tomorrow. Take care
