Hey there, it’s Teri Fisher with your flash briefing. And, this is a new application and totally new idea for Alexa, and I want to share this with you.

McDonald’s is the first company to come out with a skill that allows people to start their job search, to work for McDonald’s on Alexa.

All you do is you say, “Alexa help me get a job at McDonald’s.” And, it starts to take you through a questionnaire about some simple questions; where you are, your name, what kind of job you’re looking for.

And then what it does, is it will send you a text message and direct you to the job boards for the particular location that you’re interested in working in.

It doesn’t appear that you can do the whole job application through voice.

So, it’s interesting. It doesn’t appear that you can do the whole job application through voice, but it’s a way that you can start to have a conversation with Alexa, and you know, very easily get some of the information and initiate this job search.

So, this is the first time that this has been done as far as job searching through Alexa.

And I think it’ll be very interesting to see if other companies do the same. If you’re interested, just use that invocation phrase.

Just simply say, “Alexa, help me get a job at McDonald’s.” Alright. Talk to you tomorrow.
