Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1213
Hey, hey Teri here with your flash briefing for Tuesday and you may know that I’m a big fan of routines.
Routines are those settings that you can set with Alexa that allow you to just give one command and Alexa will do a whole bunch of things automatically.
And what I want to tell you today is that there are some suggested routines that Amazon now has available and you just simply go to the routine setting you click on the More icon in the bottom right corner of the Alexa app, you click on routines.
And then you’ll see at the top there is a place where you can click on featured and now you’ve got a whole bunch of different featured routines.

I’ll let you know about some of the other ones in upcoming flash briefings but for now, I’ll just tell you that the first one on my list is Weather After Alarm.
And when you click on that, you have the option to enable it, you just enable it by clicking the button in the top right corner.
But essentially what this one is set up to do is that every day between 4am and 9am and keep in mind that all these things are customizable, alright?
Every day between 4am and 9am, if you dismiss your alarm, then it will say a random phrase from the Good morning database of phrases that Alexa says and then Alexa will report the weather, so that is the routine pretty cool.
So there you go, you can check out all the other ones on the Alexa app as well.
