Today I want to tell you about a job that is available for those of you that are interested in working with the Amazon team specifically on Alexa.
They are looking for a software development engineer.
In particular, the job title is software development engineer, Alexa Guard, Alexa Smart Home Security.
So, first of all, this is really interesting because it shows that Amazon is investing locally, meaning, well nationally in Canada into the features that include Alexa Guard and Alexa Smart Home Security devices.
So, that’s one thing that I find interesting just right off the bat. The second thing is, this is a Canadian position.
The site is going to be in Vancouver. On site it says. And this is going to be a full-time mid-senior level position.
This is really interesting because it shows that Amazon is investing locally
So if you are a software engineer with a passion for Alexa, and particularly for smart home security type applications, Alexa guard, then I would encourage you to check this out.
I came across this on LinkedIn. However, if you simply search for software development engineer, Alexa Guard, Alexa Smart Home Security Canada, you will find the job posting.

I’m glad that we have these types of jobs available in Canada, and that it’s going to continue to expand the features of Alexa when it comes to smart home security.
