Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1234

Hello, hello, Teri here with your flash briefing.

This is one of the tips that I’ve got for you that is really useful and I think I have mentioned this in the past, but I want to mention it again today because it’s such a useful tip.

If you sometimes get sick of Alexa saying, okay, after everything that you say, you can enable what’s known as Brief Mode, and it’s really, really simple.

What you do is you go into your Alexa app, you click on More in the bottom right corner, then you’re going to click on settings.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll then have the option to click on voice responses and then when you do that, you’ll see an option where you can turn on Brief Mode and what does that do?

I highly recommend that you turn on Brief Mode and I think it’ll make things that much more efficient

Enable Brief Mode

It means that when you say or ask a command to Alexa, Alexa will speak less and will just play a short sound instead of giving a spoken response.

So if you’re the type of person that wants to just be really efficient with your smart speaker, you want to say something, get something done and move on, you don’t necessarily need that conversation with the smart speaker.

If that sounds like you, then I highly recommend that you turn on Brief Mode and I think it’ll make things that much more efficient for you, so there you go.

Hope you’re having a wonderful day and I’ll be back again tomorrow, take care.
