Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #493
Hey there, it’s Teri here with your flash briefing for Wednesday. And, today is June 26th and what does that mean? Amazon’s latest Echo device. The Echo Show 5 is being released today. So it has been available for preorder.
As I mentioned previously, the price of it is $99.99, as the introductory price, and if you buy two you can save 30 bucks. So at the time of this recording, that’s the price.
As I mentioned, today’s the 26th. It is being launched today, so hopefully, the price will still be at that launch price. And you can always go back and learn a little bit more about this by searching for the Echo Show 5 on my website.
But just so you know, basically, it is a scaled-down version of the Echo show. It’s got a five and a half inch screen, and it is what I think now going to be probably the most popular Echo device.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up being Amazon’s bestseller.
It’s priced really well for a visual display Echo. It’s got a relatively good speaker. It has got a one-megapixel camera, and it’s got a built-in camera shutter, which I’ve talked about before.
You can actually physically close the camera so that you don’t have to worry about anybody hacking it and turning on the camera when you don’t want it to be.
So, I think it’s a great device. As I said, I think it’s actually going to be, I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up being Amazons bestseller.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
