Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #596
Hey there, it’s Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for Monday. And today, in fact, this week, I’d like to go through some of the new products that were launched over the past couple of weeks from Amazon.
And today, I want to tell you about the new Echo Dot with clock, and that is the key. So they launched a new Echo Dot, the small one, the one about the size of a hockey puck, but the difference is, this one now has an LED display on the front that can show the time.
Otherwise, the features are the same. But here’s something that a lot of people have not been talking about. And that is that the LED display is not only used for time, but depending on what you’re asking of Alexa, you can actually be given information on the LED display that includes the outdoor temperature.
So when you ask for the weather, it will show you the actual temperature in the numbers, and timers, which is really nice.
So you can actually see your timers counting down on the front of the display. The LED numbers show through the fabric side of the Dot, if you will.
Here’s something that a lot of people have not been talking about.
Otherwise, the features are entirely the same as the regular Dot. The Dot with clock is $10 more than the Dot without the clock.
And, for some reason, at this point, Amazon only has the Dot with clock in the sandstone finish only. So that’s the lighter color.
At the time of the recording, this is on sale that you can actually buy two and save $25 off of the regular price of $79.99.
That’s the one with the clock. The one without the clock, of course, is $69.99. And this is going to be released October 16th, 2019. So if you order it now, you should be able to receive it the day that they become available, October 16th.

2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
