Hey, Teri here flash briefing for Friday.
Have you ever found that you get tired of saying to Alexa, play music on and then you say the service, whether it’s Spotify, Amazon music, etc.
Well, I want you to know that you can set your default music player if you haven’t done this already and it’s such a little quick time saving tip.
So here’s how you do it, you go into your Alexa app, you click on the More icon in the bottom right corner, you click on Settings, then you’re going to see a list of different settings that you can scroll through, scroll down to where it says music and podcasts and click on that.
You can also choose a different default provider if you want to for specific artists and genre stations
And then you can choose right at the top, it says default services, you click on that and that’s where you can choose your default music.
You can also choose a different default provider if you want to for specific artists and genre stations if you ask for music like that, or you can also choose a specific provider for podcasts as well.
So there’s lots of different options there, so check those out, set them up, and then you no longer have to say Alexa play blah, blah, blah on the provider, alright?
