Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1443
Hey, hey. Teri here. Hope you’re doing well. This is the last day of January. Can you believe it? Boy, this month has just flown by.
I’m a little bit late with this one. On January 28th, it was Data Privacy Day.
Although we’re a couple days late, I want to just give you a couple of different commands specifically to address the privacy concerns that are sometimes there surrounding using Alexa.
So, first of all, you can simply ask, “Alexa, how do you protect my privacy?” And she’ll give you some information on that.
Here are a couple of other things that you can say with regards to your privacy.
You can say things like, “Alexa, delete what I just said.” Or “Alexa, why did you do that?”
A couple of privacy-themed questions and commands that you can ask of Alexa
So if Alexa says something and you’re not sure why, you can actually ask that. You can say, “Alexa, tell me what you heard.”
And you can also say, “Alexa, how can I manage my voice recordings?” So there are a couple of things that you can do.
Two other ones that can be useful are, “Alexa, how do you keep my data safe?” And “Alexa, how do you use my data?” So there you go.
A couple of privacy-themed questions and commands that you can ask of Alexa. Again, it was data privacy day on January 28th.
A couple days late but better late than never. Huh? There you go.
And I hope you’re doing well. Have a wonderful day. We’ll talk again tomorrow.
