Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #507
Hey, it’s Teri here again with your flash briefing for July 10th. We are now onto clue number eight and that means that seven of them are out there.
We are halfway through this particular game of Crack the Code. If you’ve managed to crack the various clues, then you may be starting to figure out what the final code is, and if you are missing any of the clues, then just go back and you can listen to the other flash briefings, and enter for the participation prizes as well at AlexainCanada.ca/CracktheCode. Okay.
Today, I want to acknowledge one of the very early supporters of the Alexa in Canada brand. And this, of course, is Heidi Culbertson.
She came on the podcast on episode 27 and we talked about her company Marvee, and the incredible things that she’s doing with her skill, Ask Marvee, all about helping the aging population to live more independently at home using voice technology.
Heidi has become a really good friend of mine. We are going to be speaking together at the upcoming Voice Summit, and Heidi is really becoming a leader, if she’s not already, one of the most eminent speakers, and authorities on aging and voice technology.
There’s a really nice story about how she came up with the name Marvee.
So, today I want to give a shout out to Heidi and her company Marvee, and there’s a really nice story about how she came up with the name Marvee, and who she actually named the company after.
So, you know, I encourage you if you’ve got any interest in this area of voice technology to go back, have a listen to that podcast episode, and… you know, you’ll get the story behind who she named the company after, all right?
Today I want to give a shout out again to Bob Stolzberg who helped me create the Crack the Code skill with the VoiceXP platform.
And again, to remind you that one of the grand prizes is actually a one-year subscription to his top of the line account, the premium account, which is a $2,700 value.
It was extremely generous of Bob to provide that as a prize, and it was also extremely generous of him to give up his time to work with me and to create the Crack the Code skill.
So thanks again to Bob Stolzburg. Check out his platform at VoiceXP. Okay, there are now eight clues out there. I hope you’re on track.
