Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1023

Hey there, so I recently got a new Echo Show device for my office because I wanted to have one right here in front of me that I can try things on play with etc, while I’m recording the flash briefing, so that I’ve got all the capabilities of Alexa right in front of me.

But what I kind of came across was that when I plugged it in, I set it up, for some reason it was set to Fahrenheit when it was showing the weather on the display.

And I just tried this out to see if it would work rather than going through all the menu options in the app, I just simply said, “Alexa, change the temperature units to Celsius”.

just use your voice and tell Alexa to change it and it works really, really well

Change the Temperature Units

And sure enough, she responded with temperature units are now changed to Celsius and from that point forward, the temperature the weather now shows Celsius.

So moral of the story is if you are noticing that the weather is showing in Fahrenheit, and you’d rather have it in Celsius, or vice versa, just use your voice and tell Alexa to change it and it works really, really well, alright?

So that’s your tip for today, hope you’re doing well, I hope you’ve got a good weather forecast, wherever you are.

And stay tuned for tomorrow because tomorrow is podcast day and I’ve got another fantastic guest coming on to be interviewed by myself and a co-host as another episode of The Voicefluencer Show.

So we will be speaking with you tomorrow, have a great day, bye bye.
