Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #756
Hey there. Dr. Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for Sunday. I hope you are doing well.
As you know, I like to answer questions from the community. And today’s question is a relatively simple one, but yet a really important one.
This comes from Ken Holmlund in the Facebook group, and he asks, “Is there a way to sort routines alphabetically.”
Now, if you’ve been following along, you know that I love routines.
And routines, for those of you that don’t know, are things that you can trigger with Alexa by just giving one command, or setting the trigger to be at a certain time of day, and Alexa will do a whole bunch of different functions.
And, when you get a bunch of routines, it can be a little tricky to keep track of them if you want to edit them.
Well, the answer to this is not really probably what you’re looking for Ken.
They get displayed in the order that you created them.
The bottom line is, you can’t display them in an alphabetical order. What happens is, they get displayed in the order that you created them. And so, that is how it works.
Now, it would be nice if there was some way that you could, you know, change the order of them. I mean, for sure, I love to keep things really organized, but that’s just the reality of it.
So, unfortunately, no. Right now it’s the order in which you created them.
So, if you really want to change the order, you probably have to delete that particular routine, and then create it again, and then it would be at the top of your list. Alright?
So Ken, probably not the answer that you’re looking for, but that’s how it works.
And, if anybody else has any questions, send them my way, because I like to answer those questions on every Sunday.
Have a great day. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
