Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #971
Hey there, how’s it going?
It’s Teri here with your flash briefing and I’ve got some news for you today, particularly if you are wondering how you can listen to podcasts through your Echo device.
And I know actually some people asked me, how can they listen to my podcast Alexa in Canada.
Well, here’s the thing, Apple podcast support is now available in Canada for Alexa. So let me tell you how you do it, okay, basically, you got to go into your settings on your Alexa app.
So currently the way it is, you’re going to click on the More icon at the bottom.
When you see that you’re going to click on Settings, then you’re going to scroll down and you’re going to see music, you click on that.
Then what you’re going to do if you haven’t already, you’re going to click on link new service and you will see an option there for Apple podcasts.
Apple podcast support is now available in Canada for Alexa
You’ll see the option there for Apple Music, if that’s something that you would like.
Once you have done that, you link the account and it is ready to go pretty cool.
And then you can say things like Alexa play, insert the name of your favorite podcast on Apple podcasts, or resume the name of the podcast on Apple podcasts.
So you do have to say on Apple podcasts unless you make it your default music player and you could choose to do that.
I personally haven’t because I would tend to use Spotify as my default music player, but that definitely is an option for you.
Nevertheless, I think this is pretty cool, so if you’re looking for an easy way to play your favorite podcasts, then that is how you do it, alright?

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
