Hello and welcome to the flash briefing for April 4th. It’s Teri Fisher here. And today, I’ve got a little tip for you, particularly if you are looking for some work in the tech industry. Amazon is going on a hiring spree right now across Canada.
In fact, they right now have 800 positions open across 15 Canadian cities. So, if you are looking for a job with Amazon, then you may want to start looking now.
In fact, the report here, which was published by the logic, they say that Amazon is in the midst of a mass hiring effort in Canada seeking to fill over 800 full-time positions across 15 cities, nearly all for relatively high paying corporate roles.
The eCommerce giant has already hired over 200 new Canadian employees in the past 90 days. So, obviously, they’ve got a lot of hiring going on for a number of different divisions, AWS Services, Amazon Prime Video, and of course, for Alexa.
