Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #717
Alright, so today on the flash briefing, I want to tell you a little bit about the Amazon official fourth quarter sales.
Get this, I mean it just seems like this is routine now.
Every three months I’m telling you this is the latest report and Amazon’s just like blowing the competition out of the water.
Well, here’s the thing, for the last three months of 2019 their sales were up 21% up to $87.4 billion and when you dive into the report a little bit, it’s amazing.
The highlights really come back to Alexa. I’ll just give you a couple of the key points that I think are interesting and relevant to us that use Amazon Alexa on a regular basis.
So during the holiday season of 2019 customers ordered billions of items worldwide and tens of millions of Amazon devices.
Guess what the best selling devices were? Any idea? Let’s give you the top three.
Lamborghini is having Alexa built in to certain cars that they produce.
They were the Echo Dot, the Fire TV Stick 4k with Alexa voice remote and the Echo Show 5.
So the top three products that Amazon sold all incorporated Alexa.
Just recently they also noted that Amazon has announced some partnerships with other automobile manufacturers Fiat, Chrysler as well as Lamborghini is having Alexa built in to certain cars that they produce the Rivian, I think that’s how you say it, brand is integrating Alexa into their electrical vehicle lineup and there is just so much that Alexa is getting involved with in just penetrating all different sectors of markets.
Anyway, the report goes on and on and on, there’s so much there that you can easily search if you just search for fourth quarter report for Amazon 2019.
The bottom line is Alexa continues to be a huge component for what Amazon is doing and no surprise to me probably not much of a surprise to you either.

2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
