Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #584
Hey there. So, today is a big day when it comes to Amazon, because, today’s September 25th. And, if you aren’t aware, Amazon has a big PR day today.
They have a big event where they are going to be announcing a lot of new products and potentially features to Alexa.
Now, you may recall that last year, at this event, it was the event where they announced the Amazon Echo clock, the microwave. They announced some of the new features, guard, and so on.
Some of those things are in the United States. However, some of those other features and things that have to do with like the Echo Plus, and the new generation of the Echos, and the Echo Input, and the Echo Subwoofer.
So, there were a lot of products and services.
Anyway, today’s the big day. And, I would bet, probably a fair bit of money on the fact that Amazon is going to surprise us today, and come out with all kinds of products and services.
Services meaning I’m sure they’re going to be launching some new features to Alexa, that hopefully will come to Canada, I don’t know.
And, I’m sure that they are going to be launching some new products as well.
I’ll tell you what I’m excited about, and I don’t know if they’re gonna to launch it today or not, but there’s been a lot of media over the last year essentially, that has shown that Amazon is quite interested in robots.
I’m sure that they are going to be launching some new products as well.
And, I’m going to put it out there now, we’ll see if I’m right or not.
But I’m actually wondering if Amazon may go ahead and launch an Echo Robot with Alexa built in, so that it can actually move around your home, and follow you, and you can talk to Alexa and it can follow you around your home.
So anyway, there’s my prediction. We’ll see if I’m right or wrong.
I’ll hedge my bets here if I’m wrong, I’ll bet it’ll come out next year.
But anyway, last thing, if you do like the look of any of these products, and by the way, I will report on these over the next couple of days and weeks.
