Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #600
Well, today is a big day, not just because I’m telling you about the Echo Show 8, but because, today actually marks the 600th flash briefing of the Voice in Canada.
And I just got to take a few quick seconds to say thank you to you for your support of this flash briefing. As you know, it has been the number one flash briefing in Canada ever since it started. And, I don’t take that lightly.

Alright, so let’s move on. Today, I want to tell you about the Echo Show 8. This is another one of the newest products that Amazon announced recently. And, the Echo Show 8 really kind of fits in between the Echo Show 5, and the Echo Show.
So, Amazon obviously felt that there was a need among the consumers to have a smart display that was in the middle of the road in terms of size.
So, pretty simple, the Echo Show 8 has an eight inch screen. It does have higher resolution than the Echo Show 5, it has better speakers, and the camera, however, is the same as the Echo Show 5.
The Echo Show, which is actually a 10 inch screen device, has a better camera.
It does have higher resolution than the Echo Show 5, it has better speakers.
The other thing to keep in mind as far as the Echo Show lineup, meaning that Show 5, the Show 8 and the Echo Show, is that, only the largest one, the Echo Show, has the built in ZigBee smart home hub.
So, if you’re looking for a device with the smart home hub, the Echo Show 8 won’t do the trick.
But, if you’re looking for a good value buy when it comes to a smart speaker with a display, then you may be very interested in the Echo Show 8.
It has that shutter as well, that mechanical shutter that allows you to actually close off the camera if you are concerned about the privacy, and that’s something that the Echo Show, the larger one does not have.
The Echo Show 8 comes in charcoal, in sandstone, and the price is $169 even. Here’s the interesting part for the pricing for this one, if you buy two, it says you save $139.99 cents so you’re almost getting one for free.
Because if they’re $169 and you’re saving $140 you’re getting one for basically $29. That is a really good deal.
