Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #598
Hey there. Well, continuing on with the latest products that Amazon announced, today I want to tell you about the new Echo.
So, the Echo is the original device, however, this is now the 3rd generation, and they’re calling it the All New Echo.
The biggest difference between this and the prior generation, is that the speakers are actually better quality.
So they now have speakers that are similar to what the Echo Plus had in the last, or current generation of the Echo Plus.
What does the Echo have? It has a 0.8 inch tweeter and a three inch woofer, and it has Dolby processing.
The only difference now between the Echo and the Echo Plus really, is that the Echo Plus has the built in ZigBee smart home hub.
So if you want one with a smart home hub, you’re going to want to go for the Echo Plus. Otherwise, the Echo is a really good choice.
It does come in a new color. So now in addition to the charcoal, heather gray, and sandstone, it also has a twilight blue color. And, the price, 129.99 Canadian.
At the time of recording, if you buy two, you save $40, and this will be released on October 16th, 2019, so this is available for pre-order right now.
The speakers are actually better quality.
If you choose to order through my affiliate link, you can do so at AlexainCanada.ca/Echo. I do earn a small commission.
There’s no cost to you whatsoever, and of course I really appreciate that. And, finally today, I want to give a shout out to the latest person that left a review for the Voice in Canada flash briefing.
I love to give shout outs. It’s just my way that I think that I can thank you for taking the time and effort to do that.
And today, the shout out goes to somebody by the name of Trizzy, and Trizzy writes, “Fantastic flash briefings for Canadians by Canadians.”
He gives it five stars and writes, “Very informative, short and to the point. If you live in Canada and have an Amazon Echo, this is a must have. Glad to have this in my flash briefing.”
Thanks very much, Trizzy. Obviously those words mean a lot to me and I really appreciate that.
If anybody else would like to leave a review, very simple, you just go to VoiceinCanada.ca, you’ll see a red button.
You just click on that, and you are off and running, so thanks very much. And by the way, if you want to check out the other series of flash briefings that I’m now producing, you can go to VoiceFirstHealth.com, there’s a whole collection of health-related flash briefings for your viewing and listening pleasure.
Have a great day, talk to you again tomorrow.
