Hey there. So have you heard of Alexa gadgets?
Well, Alexa gadgets is a term that Amazon uses to describe a toolkit that developers can use to more tightly integrate Alexa with other types of gadgets.
Let me give you a couple of examples, because this type of technology allows, for example, you to be able to voice control things like dancing plush toys, or be able to control smart toothbrushes, or touch sensitive table mats, or these sorts of things.
And, what’s interesting is that the toolkit to develop these integrations were not yet available in Canada until now.
Now they have been launched in Canada and I want to let you know this, because it’s very interesting.
More opportunity for developers, means more products, means smarter homes.
We Canadians are probably going to be seeing in the very near future, more and more tightly integrated gadgets, smart devices, that can be controlled through voice technology.
Is this a good thing? Well, I have to think so. More opportunity for developers, means more products, means smarter homes, and more interesting technology for all of us to play around with.
So I’m excited about it. I hope you are too. I’ll have to keep my ears and eyes open for more information on this.

2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
