Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #769
Hey there, Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for Saturday.
Hope you’re doing well, hope you are staying safe, staying healthy and practicing what I’m referring to as physical distancing but social connecting.
Today is all about some commands that you can say to Alexa to well, help us pass some time because we are all cooped up and I’ve got a couple of really, really good ones today, I like both of these.

But alright, here we go, we’ve got two that are very, very applicable to what’s going on in the world right now.
And the first one is simply say to Alexa, “Alexa, entertain me.” and she will do her best to bring a smile to your face, okay?
She will actually sing a song about washing hands for 20 seconds.
And she’s got a couple of different things that she can say when you say that command.
So try it a couple times, okay? And this one, this is a really cool, and this is a really neat idea, it’s very practical.
We all know that one of the things that we can do to help minimize the spread of the virus is washing hands for 20 seconds, 20 seconds is the key.
How do you know how long 20 seconds is? Cause it’s actually quite a long time.
What you do is you say to Alexa, “Alexa, sing me a song for 20 seconds,” or “Alexa, sing a song for 20 seconds.” and what she will do is she will actually sing a song about washing hands for 20 seconds.
It’s more of a rap, but it’s very cool, so try that one out, okay? “Alexa, sing a song for 20 seconds.”

1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
