Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1332
Hello, hello. Teri here. Happy Tuesday. Today I want to give you a little tip about if you happen to find yourself in a situation where you need Alexa to act as an interpreter for you, you can actually use her to do just that.
And it’s really, really simple. What you do is, and I’ll give an example here. Let’s say I wanted to know how to say what time is in Spanish.
You simply say to Alexa, “Alexa, how do you say, what time is it in Spanish?” And you can do this for a number of different languages.
And you can sort of explore that if you’d like on your own, and see which languages she can translate things for you.
In any case, what she will do is then she’ll then respond with that answer.
You could use your voice to translate something
She’ll say, “What time is it in Spanish is…” and she’ll fill in the blank. I’m not going to attempt to speak Spanish here. But that’s the idea. So, pretty cool.
And what’s also pretty neat about it, is you can imagine that if you’re on the go somewhere and you need to do this, you could use your voice to translate something when you are, let’s say, traveling or meeting somebody that doesn’t speak the same language as you do.
So there you go. Kind of a fun tip in a way that Alexa can help you out with that. Have a wonderful Tuesday and I’ll be back again tomorrow. Take care
