Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1193
Hey there, Teri here with your flash briefing for Wednesday and today I want to tell you about something that Alexa said to me that I thought was pretty cool.
And this is kind of along the lines of these hunches that Alexa is starting to be able to do and it basically is a suggestion that Alexa can give to you based on your behavior.
So here’s what happened and what I experienced, so I was in the morning, my son came into my room, and we wanted to listen to something on Alexa and what we found was that it was very quiet at that particular moment.
So the volume was turned down and so we started to ask Alexa to increase the volume and Alexa then asked us, do you want the volume to be turned up to three every morning when you wake up?
Alexa was actually now asking to be proactive to set that.
And I thought that was very interesting, because if you’ve set your volume to go down at night, and you haven’t yet actually created a routine to turn up the volume, Alexa was actually now asking to be proactive to set that.
And so I find that very fascinating because it shows that there’s a little bit of intelligence now behind what Alexa is doing.
So my question to you to the audience is, what other ways have you experienced Alexa doing this, providing you with some type of suggestion to make your life a little bit easier?
