Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1156
Hey, hey Teri here, hope you’re doing well, today I want to give you a little tip, if you have an Echo Flex.
As you may know, the Echo Flex is the smallest of the Echo devices, it just plugs into the wall directly into a socket and that is it and you can also get accessories for it, you can get a light, you can get a motion detector, there are various things that you can do.
So if you have one of those accessories, I just wanted to give you a tip of how to set it up and it’s actually really, really easy, just make sure that you have updated your Alexa app on your phone so that you’ve got the latest edition.
But then what you do is you set up your Echo Flex as you normally would and then you just insert the the accessory into the Echo Flex USB port.
So you basically plug it in, the Echo Flex will then notify you by voice and send you a notification to the Alexa app when it’s ready to use and you can always find that accessory by then selecting devices in the app and you can go through that and set it up.

Now if you do not see the accessory try saying “Discover devices” to Alexa and that should help you out with that as well, alright?
So pretty simple, but it adds some really nice functionality when you have an Echo Flex with like a motion detector and that could for example, trigger a light when you come in the room, lots of cool and fun stuff you can do with that.
