Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #981

Hey, it’s Teri and I have a tip for you today on how you can use Alexa to set up the ability to call a contact of your choice.

So this is pretty cool, I’m going to talk you through how to do this.

So what you have to do is you have to use your Alexa app, you click on the communicate icon, which is along the bottom of your screen.

You’re gonna see a little speech bubble that says communicate, click on that, in the top right corner, you’re gonna see the little icon of a person, you click on that.

Now, that icon is replaced by three little dots, you click on that, and then you select Add contact.

You can either say call the phone number or call the person that you’ve just entered

Now when you do that, you get the option of typing in the first name of the person you’re trying to add the last name, and then you can actually add in a nickname.

You can add in a relationship and then you put in the phone number and then you click Add phone number and once you’ve done that, now you can say to Alexa, “Alexa, call, whoever it is right?”

You can either say call the phone number or call the person that you’ve just entered, and it makes it a really nice way to be able to communicate with that person, simply hands free through Alexa.

So give that a shot, I’d love to hear how that works out for you and we’ll talk again tomorrow.

Have a great day.
