Hey there and welcome to the flash briefing for today. It’s Dr. Teri Fisher here and I gotta tell you, I’m really excited about today’s podcast guest, I have Patrick Givens on the podcast with me.
He is the vice president, head of Vayner Smart, which of course is the division of Vayner media.
And for those of you who’ve have been following me along for some time, you may know that a lot of the inspiration of why I got started in voice technology was due to Gary Vaynerchuk and of course Gary Vaynerchuk is the founder CEO of Vayner media.
So it’s really kind of cool to close the loop here and get to speak with now Patrick, who is really running the smart division of Vayner media where they look at voice technology as a component of a marketing strategy and also of course, how they are developing Alexa skills.

We get into a really interesting discussion towards the end of the podcast about how they are leveraging all of the content that Gary Vaynerchuk puts out and how they are working on creating a skill out of it and I found that absolutely fascinating.
We get into some of the ethical discussions as well around this, really, really interesting questions are raised.
