Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #736
Hey there. Teri Fisher here, and I’ve got your flash briefing for today.
And as if there was ever any question as to whether or not Alexa would really start to, you know, become part of our everyday lives.
How about this for a little bit of news. Those of you in Edmonton and Calgary may be familiar with the company Jayman BUILT. And, they are home builders.
And, what they have recently started doing, there some news about this, is that now, they have included smart home technologies, and specifically Alexa as a part of their core performance products for homes that are being built.
As an example, they say that Alexa will oversee various things in the home, things such as security cameras, solar panels, smart thermostats, locks, the whole bid.
And, according to the company, they say you need a brain, you need a hub for all this stuff in the smart home, and they’ve chosen to use Alexa as that hub.
Canadian home builders are using Alexa as the hub when they are building new homes.
So very interesting, that now, yes, Canadian home builders are using Alexa as the hub when they are building new homes.
So, if you’re in Edmonton, Calgary, look out for those homes, you know, look up for those homes across the country, cause I’m sure they’re not the only ones, but it just sort of goes to show the amount of impact that Alexa’s having on the market.
