Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #708
Well, hello there. I am really, really excited about today’s flash briefing, because today I get to announce the winners of the Crack the Code contest.
First of all, for all of you that played along, thank you so much.
It was a really, really fun experience for me to bring it to you, and from the feedback that I’ve been getting so far, it sounds like by and large, everybody had a lot of fun with it, so thank you for that.
If you have not left feedback, then I encourage you to do so, it really helps me to create the next version of Crack the Code, and make it even better. And you simply go to AlexainCanada.ca/Feedback. And, that would be wonderful.
It’s a very, very short survey, and again, it’s very helpful for me to create a better experience next time.
I want to give you a couple of quick stats and then I’m going to tell you about the winners, but I’m going to be covering this more in the podcast this week. So you can tune into the podcast tomorrow for all the details on this.
But essentially, we had a much, much bigger turnout this time around.
We had 890 participants, and of those, we had 51 people that cracked the code, they cracked the final code, and we had 69 that participated particularly in the bonus day.
And it was a one day bonus prize, an Echo Show 5 that you could get.
So anyway, there you go. Those were some of the numbers. I’m going to get into more of them on the podcast.
Let’s get to the winners, because this is what it’s all about, and this is where the fun really comes in.
So let’s start with the two participation prizes. So everybody that played along had the opportunity to win a participation prize. And just so you know, the way this worked is, anybody that did enter, I then had a random draw from the software that I use, and it selected the participation prize winners.
Same thing with the bonus prize, and the grand prize winners, which we’ll talk about in a moment.
Basically those that were eligible for that, then the names were randomly drawn from that list of people.
Okay. So, the participation prizes were courtesy of Amazon. They genuinely sponsored this and each one of these people are going to get an Echo Show 5.
And so, the two participation prize winners are Cheryl Traub and Trish Uhl. So congratulations to both of you.
It was a great success and of course, I’m going to be doing this again in the future.
Thank you to Amazon for sponsoring that prize, and I have contacted both of you, and those will be on their way to you. Your own Echo Show 5.
Let’s get to the bonus prize. Now, if you’ll remember, there was one particular day when I said that if you could solve that clue, that would put you in the running for a bonus prize.
And this only applies to people that entered for that particular prize on that particular day. And again, we had 69 people there.
The bonus prize, also an Echo Show 5, is sponsored by Amazon as well, and the winner of this is James Drury.
So, congratulations, James, and as well, this is on its way to you. And then finally, here we go, the grand prize winner, and let me go over again what this person is winning.
This person is getting all of the following; an Echo Show sponsored by our friends at AudioBurst, an Echo Show 8 sponsored by Trebble.fm, an Echo Show 5 sponsored by Trinity Audio, a VoiceXP premium one-year account sponsored, of course, by Voice XP, a Voice Summit 2020 all access pass for the conference taking place in October in Washington, DC, and I’m offering as well, my flash briefing formula gold package, which includes three hours of consultation with myself to help you create your very own flash briefing. And so, here we go. Drum roll.
The grand prize winner. These are the most prizes I’ve ever given away as far as the Crack the Code contest. And this goes to Patrick Doyle.
So Patrick, big, big congratulations to you. I know that you’ve been a very active person in the Facebook community, and so, that is wonderful. And, there you go, Patrick. Congratulations.
You have been contacted as well, and the prizes will be in the mail to you too.
So again, thank you Northern Voice for participating in this contest.
I really hope that you had as much fun playing it as I had bringing it to you. And again, it was a great success and, of course, I’m going to be doing this again in the future.
If you’ve got any feedback, I’d love to hear from you. Again, that survey is at AlexainCanada.ca/Feedback. And I’ve got some other news for you. Various other things coming up.
There’s a lot to keep track of here and we have a lot of fun things in the works here. So, enjoy your day.
Congrats to all the prize winners, and tomorrow on the podcast I will be having a lot more details about the contest itself. Okay?
So I will talk to you tomorrow.
